Democracy-Autocracy.......

Morning losers!!!
Thats right...you guessed it, the Pope of Pontypool is back, with yet another mind boggling, brain twitching, Christian related question........oh how i love to question things. =)

Now, as strong supportive Christians, we have all been taught that God is the almighty creator of all things, and he loves us as his children.
However, we have also been taught that Gods will must be done in order for us to enter the kingdom of heaven, otherwise we are to spend the rest of eternity in hell (or in my opinion, spend another life on earth with a second chance.....but thats another story).

Anyway, if we can only follow Gods will in order to enter his kingdom, then this obviously brings to light the old saying "Gods way...or the Highway"!
But if thats the case.......does that make God a fascist?

(Obviously, we all know that God is not a fascist, it would be completely insane to even think so, but considering that God is the one sole ruler of heaven and earth, and that his will must be done in order for us to enter eternal life.......fascism does cross your mind a little bit.....dont you think)?

Nice one for keeping the site up to date Skinner, although I don't really agree with you here! There is only one God, so who else is there to follow!! Also it's not really fascist because you have free choice to follow him or not....

But do keep up the pondering thoughts, they are interesting propositions.

Hey Luke Man!!
Yeah i know what you mean...God is obviously not a fascist...im just making the point just for the pure hell of it really. =) And you make a good point, i suppose we do have free choice whether we have to follow him or not, so in that perspective, God is'nt a fascist anyway really!
And dont worry, ive got plenty of pondering thoughts to publish yet...you'll see. =)
Hope your hols are going proper.

The Pope

Hey skinnus how do. Seen Billy Miles? I saw him in his clapped out Skoda in Usk Vets reently whilst I was pickin up my sister!!

In answer to your question if you want to physically live on earth we are agreed its prob not the best idea to jump of a cliff? Well if you want to live spiritually in heaven you must not disobey the Lord God. The rules he laid down are only there for us to lead a good life anyway.

Aw well something to discuss at CU see you on Tue, butt.

Skinner Says:

There is one thing that has always proven Gods existance to me (something which he doesnt do very often) and that is the creation of the world. Scientists claim that God didn't create the earth...it was the Big Bang. Bit if nothing existed before the Big Bang, then how can such a celestial explosion happen in the first place? Answer: the actions of God!
